After spending a year teaching English in China, I decided to return to Canada and become a licensed ESL teacher. After a few years in the private sector I developed multiple curriculums for different situations: children in need of academic reinforcement, professionals picking up a new language, businesses in need of specialized professional development, foreign university students looking for advanced English classes and paper editing, etc.
Over the past few years I have strived to establish a clear understanding of my student’s needs and to help them overcome whatever obstacles they may face. My current endeavor is teaching professionals and helping them achieve their goals with a personalized program focused around their specific needs, whether those be to successfully prepare a business presentation, to comfortably interact with potential English partners and clients or to pass a course or a test.
